On Wednesday, March 29th from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, join us at the Montgomery Scotch Lounge located at 750 Gladstone Avenue for a fun, social evening and the opportunity to connect with fellow conservatives as we elect our Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the formal meeting portion of the evening will start at 7:00 PM. Free food and drinks will be provided. In attendance will be Member of Parliament for Parry Sound—Muskoka and Shadow Minister for Housing, Diversity and Inclusion, Scott Aitchison, as our special guest speaker!

All active Conservative Party members in good standing who are members twenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting are are invited to join us for our 2023 Annual General Meeting. Former members who have had their membership lapse within ninety (90) days prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting may still attend, provided they renew their membership at the door. Online registration is required in order to attend as space as limited. Proof of identification that shows your name and residence is also required to be presented upon arrival in order to attend. Acceptable ID includes a drivers license / photo ID card or a health card plus a document that proves your residence such as a utility bill. 

MEETING AGENDA:

The following business shall be conducted at this Annual General Meeting:

• Approval of the agenda of the 2023 Annual General Meeting
• Approval of the minutes of the 2022 Annual General Meeting
• Report by the President of the association on behalf of the Board of Directors
• Presentation of financial statements and financial report
• Appointment of the Auditor
• Presentation of the Candidate Nomination Committee's report
• Review of the Code of Conduct for volunteers, EDA directors and campaign staff
• Election of the Board of Directors and presentation of the new board
• Notice of the Delegate Selection Meeting for the 2023 policy convention in Quebec City (Please note that the actual Delegate Selection Meeting for Ottawa Centre will not be occurring during this meeting and shall be held at a later time)
• Other business as required

TO RUN FOR ELECTION TO THE BOARD:

Members interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors must express their interest in doing so by contacting the President of the association and completing a signed copy of "Appendix A" of the association's constitution.
